An Iced Wedding Reception Celebrated In The Glacier Cryosphere
Their wedding planning journey with Stress-free
The first day Maureen walked in our wedding planning office she was a true meaning of a stressed bride. She had tried the wedding planning journey alone, searching for vendors and it hadn’t worked out, she was exhausted, she heard about us and called to come in immediately. She was ill from hospital and just one look at her I knew I had to live up to the company name. Stress-free and Serene. Our space is that space that welcomes a client with all the wild ideas, social media downloads and help them filter them down to the best customised wedding.
After a lengthy conversation Maureen immediately deposited and booked her date plus setting up an appointment to come back with her fiancée for the discovery journey. Fast forward during this journey Bish said “I love blue please wow us.” Maureen thought hard and said “I would love to have a white, glass, crystal and modern wedding.” I thought blue and white crystal lets sail off to glacier world- THE CONCEPT.
The intention was to create an ice cold illusion of an ice environment. I remember on the wedding day every guest had their own story to tell, they gave the concept their own name. Some called it the North Pole others called it an aquarium whatever it was, we achieved the moving glacier wedding because the cold feeling environment was common in the naming.
As usual we are from concept to completion, from vision to wow without the worry. We dived in the planning process with all powers handed over to us we changed the earlier reserved venue to another for the right concept execution results worked on attires and all timelines leading to 23rd April 2022

CHURCH
Bishanga Moses & Mourine Achola said I DO at the Uganda Martyrs Shrine Namugongo on April 23rd 2025 at 12pm officiated by the senior pastor – Fr. Silvester Chimenga.
At exactly 12pm the bride walked down the aisle graced by her parents with the prayer by Celine Dion playing on a saxophone it was all merry and teary as the congregation stood and witnessed the start of happily ever after.
Once the priest declared them the Bishangas, they sealed it with the kiss and we were ready to party.
RECEPTION
Following the exchange of heart felt vows, the guests were welcomed with the a cocktail session and phot session of the famous 60 camera as the couple took photos in their reception area at the Victoria ball room Kampala Serena Hotel. With the signature cocktails they were invited to the reception with long white walkaway and crystal chandeliers.
The decorator of the day I candy understood the concept of a white, silver, mirror and crystal wedding she gave it a glassy and mirror reflection look on the dancefloor reflecting the white iced ceiling to finish the ice glacier look. She mixed blue, glass and mirror tables with long clear centre pieces.
The guest list was graced from the top to the know who. The couple later joined the guests at the reception having Bebe cool and Abeeka band Levixone give the best of entertainment. The event was officially opened with a prayer and the couple’s first dance of Stuck on you by Lionel Richie going off lights and spotting lighting the couple on the dance floor followed by releasing fireworks pyros and fog. Later the guests were treated to a delicious dinner as they enjoyed their event with Uncle Mark and Ojay as the event hosts, Levixone on the second entrance.
Forever as Stress free and serene events we shall always be part of a happily ever after that began from a glacier wedding reception.
